Vicky Xu, PT

Vicky Xu is committed to helping and working with her clients through continuous learning and growth both personally and professionally.

Vicky obtained her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Western University in London, Ontario in 2012 where she developed interests in orthopaedics and cancer related conditions. Vicky completed her undergraduate degree in Honours Bachelor of Science of Kinesiology at McMaster University. Most recently, Vicky completed additional post-graduate education on cancer rehabilitation and pelvic health.

Vicky has a special interest in oncology where she works with clients who are recovering from or receiving cancer treatment and she actively pursues professional development around cancer management.  Vicky has experience treating clients with injuries sustained from sports, daily activities and workplace and motor vehicle accidents.  She also works with clients that have neurological conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy and Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Professional Achievements
Vicky is involved in mentorship of physiotherapy students and residents where she received recognition from the University of Toronto and Queen’s University. Aside from treating in the clinic, Vicky likes to contribute to the profession and the community in different ways.   She had volunteered to represent the Ontario Physiotherapy Association in medical conferences to promote the physiotherapy profession to other health care professionals.  In the community, Vicky had volunteered as a medical practitioner to treat athletes in the Toronto 2015 Pam Am Games and multiple Badminton World Championships.  She had also been invited to provide educational sessions to a mental health illness group at the Toronto Western Hospital.


In her free time, Vicky enjoys playing tennis, yoga and doing crafts.
