Betty Huang, PT

Betty Huang has over 10 years of clinical experience, as a Physiotherapist and Kinesiologist, Betty follows the philosophy that exercise is medicine and one`s health should be valued.

Education
Betty, PT, graduated from the University of Alberta as a Physical Therapist with a Masters of Science in in Physical Therapy and completed a Bachelors of Science undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University. Since graduating from Physical Therapy, Betty has completed additional training in Vestibular and Concussion Rehab and is certified in acupuncture and dry needling. Most recently, Betty completed additional post-graduate education in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.

Career
Betty has worked primarily in Private Practice in treating work injuries, sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, orthopedic conditions and managing vestibular and concussions in patients. Betty is certified in Acupuncture and Dry Needling for Physiotherapists. Betty has experiences and interest in treating Chronic Pain Conditions such as Fibromyalgia. Prior to working as a Physiotherapist, Betty worked as a Kinesiologist prescribing exercises and helping people improve their physical fitness.

Interests
Betty enjoys running, bouldering, cross country skiing and cycling. She has a special interest in treating climbing and bouldering related injuries. When she is not working, you can see her on the wall or running around the neighbourhood.
